Sensory Annihilation

You told me now – I’ll tell you then

On burning out and where and when

And finding how the pieces fit

In this backward place that we exist

You’ve overwhelmed my every sense

I’ve found and lost where I have been

And cost myself at my expense

Chances gained where I admit

All the things that you had meant

You’ve overwhelmed my every sense
